Our sustainability strategy: measurable, practical, future-proof

DSwiss pursues a data-driven approach with a focus on three key areas in order to establish a future-proof sustainability strategy. Together with our partners, we are committed to consistently implementing and continuously developing our sustainability goals.

Data-based
Objective

DSwiss is developing a comprehensive sustainability strategy that takes into account environmental, social and internal company processes. Our goals are based on the requirements of the Paris Agreement and the European Commission's net zero initiatives. Through data-based decisions, we create a clear foundation for sustainable growth.

Standardization of reporting

We are working to identify the sustainability standards that are relevant to us in order to optimize our data collection and reporting. In the past, DSwiss has already prepared reports using the MyClimate Smart3 tool in accordance with GRI standards. In the future, we would like to integrate additional methods in order to paint a more holistic picture of our sustainability performance.

In-depth stakeholder
involvement

Greenhouse gas emissions arise not only from the operation of our data centers, but also from other business activities. These emissions remain a central topic in our MyClimate reports and are an important part of our future goals. We are convinced that our employees play a key role in achieving our goals and are intrinsically motivated to drive our sustainability efforts forward.

Our focus

Focus topics of our sustainability

Companies focus on many different projects when it comes to sustainability. At DSwiss, we concentrate on a few selected topics that are particularly close to the hearts of our employees.

For more easy mobility

Commuting and business travel contribute significantly to our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions at DSwiss. We are therefore looking for ways to create incentives to motivate our employees to switch from cars to more environmentally friendly alternatives. In June, for example, we organized an internal company challenge together with "Bike to Work". 12 employees at the Zurich site took part and together cycled 119 days and 1,211 kilometers. This enabled us to save 174 kg of CO₂. A great start, but only the beginning of our efforts.

For human corporate management

At DSwiss, we do everything we can to achieve our goal of becoming the world's most trusted company for digital valuables - a promise that applies both externally and internally. We place great value on collaboration and mutual understanding. For example, our team in the Lisbon office organized a beach clean-up, which was not only a good deed but also strengthened team building. We are determined to continue promoting such initiatives and to drive forward measures that foster respect and well-being within the team.
